At Fervenza, privacy is part of the care we bring to every celebration. This notice explains what personal data we collect, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and how to exercise your rights. It applies to this website, to our exchanges with you, and to the planning of your event.

- Data from third-party sources: referrals, professional social networks, public information.
Some of this information, in particular your faith (when you share it with us to organise a religious ceremony), dietary and health data, constitutes special category data under Article 9 GDPR. We process it only for the purposes of your event and on the basis of your explicit consent.
How we collect it
We collect your data through: this website (inquiry, contact, newsletter and application forms); live chat; our audience-measurement tool; and our direct exchanges (email, phone, WhatsApp, messaging, video calls, meetings). Our calls and video calls may be recorded for follow-up and quality purposes, with participants informed beforehand. You may object at any time to processing based on legitimate interest, on grounds relating to your particular situation (see “Your rights”).
Profiling and automated decisions
We use our measurement tools and CRM to understand the interests of our visitors and prospects and to prioritise and personalise our follow-up. In practice, this may influence the nature and timing of our communications, but never conditions access to our services. No decision producing legal effects concerning you, or similarly significantly affecting you, is taken solely on an automated basis. Session recording (Microsoft Clarity) is configured to mask input fields. You may object to this processing at any time.
Guest and third-party data
When you share data about your guests or other people, you confirm that you have informed them of this processing and, where required by law, obtained their consent. We use this data only to organise and deliver your event. If you refer a friend under our referral programme, you likewise confirm that you have told them you are sharing their contact details with us.
Sensitive data: share only what is necessary
Please share sensitive data (health, faith, or dietary needs that may reveal a belief) only when necessary for our services, and for your guests, only what is useful for the event. We process such data on the basis of explicit consent and for that sole purpose.
Marriage proposals
When you entrust us with organising a marriage proposal, you may share information about the person to whom it is addressed (preferences, habits, schedule, contact details). By nature, that person is not informed beforehand. We limit this information to what is strictly necessary, keep it only for the time needed to prepare the moment, and provide the required information discreetly, usually once the proposal has been made. The person concerned retains all their rights (see “Your rights”). Legal basis: our legitimate interest in organising the proposal you entrust to us.
Photographs and videos
We take or coordinate photographs and videos of your event as part of our services. Any publication of these images (portfolio, testimonials, social media) takes place only with your explicit, case-by-case consent, which you can withdraw at any time. You confirm that identifiable people in the images you provide have agreed to appear. You may ask us not to use an image of you.
Who we share your data with
We share your data only with:
- Our processors, acting on our instructions and under contract (Article 28 GDPR): hosting, ERP and CRM, audience measurement, advertising, chat, web fonts, consent management.
- Our event partners (by category: caterer, venue, florist, photographer or videographer, transport, accommodation, security, officiant, and other relevant suppliers), who receive only the information necessary for their assignment.
- Authorities and authorised third parties, upon legal request or obligation.

Our main processors are: Cloudflare (hosting), Adobe (Adobe Fonts), our Fervenza infrastructure (presence measurement and ERP), Google (Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads), Microsoft (Clarity), Zoho (PageSense, SalesIQ chat and CRM), and a card payment provider. Consent is managed in-house through Klaro, a self-hosted open-source consent manager, with no third-party consent management platform involved. We do not sell your data.
Transfers outside the European Union
Our measurement tool, our ERP and the consent solution are hosted in the European Union. Some processors (Cloudflare, Adobe, Google, Microsoft, Zoho) may process data outside the European Union, in particular in the United States. These transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. A copy of these safeguards is available on request at privacy@fervenza.fr.
