The area

Carqueiranne is a seaside village between Toulon and Hyères, facing the Giens peninsula. On Thursday morning, nearly a hundred stalls fill the market in the centre; on Saturday, local growers set up on the Salettes harbour. And for early arrivals, the boat to Porquerolles leaves from La Tour Fondue: a fifteen-minute crossing.

Fervenza is a French company for all-inclusive weddings. With Émilie and the whole team, we're already planning weddings for 2027 and 2028.

How much does a wedding at Château Carqueiranne cost?

From €52,000, all-inclusive, for about 100 guests: the venue, the table, the flowers, the music, your photos, and us on site. Your exact price depends on your date and your guest count, and you have it in writing within a week.

Can the price change?

Once you agree, no. It only changes if you change the wedding: more or fewer guests, or something you add along the way.

What if one of our suppliers can't make it?

We replace them. They're our suppliers, under our contract, so the two of you have nothing to search for or renegotiate. You approve the choice, and we take care of the rest.

Can we insure our wedding?

Yes, if you wish. We can offer optional cancellation insurance dedicated to your wedding, placed with Lloyd's. It covers cancelling or postponing for reasons beyond your control, including if one of you can't be there, as set out in the policy terms.

What if we booked the château directly?

You can, it's a lovely house. The château rents you its estate, its salons and, if you wish, its 24 rooms, and leaves the caterer up to you. You then bring together the caterer, the flowers, the decor, the music, the photographer and the running of the day. With us, all of that is in your price, every choice stays yours, and the château keeps its own rate. You come to get married.

How many guests can we invite?

Up to 150 at the table and 250 for drinks. At 50, everyone sleeps at the château, in its 24 rooms and its dormitory; at 150, it's the big party, and the others sleep in Hyères or Toulon, 10 and 15 minutes away.

Which dates are still free?

The estate hosts weddings all year round. Tell us your date, we check with Château Carqueiranne and reply in writing.

Can we have a secular ceremony on site?

Yes, as the day ends, on the esplanade facing the vines and the sea, or in front of the estate's small chapel. Your words, your officiant, your people around you, and the drinks right after, at the foot of the château.

Can we have our civil wedding in Carqueiranne?

In France, a civil wedding always takes place at a town hall, never at the château. Carqueiranne town hall can marry you if one of you, or one of your parents, lives there or has lived there for at least a month. Otherwise, the civil wedding happens in your own town, and the ceremony at the château.

Our guests are flying in. Is it easy for them?

Yes: Toulon-Hyères airport is 10 minutes away, Hyères 10, Toulon 15. Those coming by train get off at Toulon TGV station, and bus 39 drops them 100 metres from the château in 20 minutes. And 52 of them sleep on site.

How do our guests get back after the party?

52 of them only have a few steps to their room. The others sleep in Hyères or Toulon, 10 and 15 minutes away. We give you the addresses, ready to share with your loved ones.

And if it rains?

Rain plan: the château's ground-floor salons, under their crystal chandeliers, and for a bigger table, a marquee on the estate, which the château allows. We pick the right one together at the visit, for your guest count.

Where do we get ready?

At the château, which has a suite for the couple. One of you gets ready there, the other in a south-facing room with the sea in the window, each with your own people in the rooms next door. You meet again on the esplanade.

What is the château's story?

The estate appears in a deed of sale in 1217, and vines and olive trees have grown here ever since. In 1896, a steam-powered aeroplane was built in its hangar and flew about a hundred metres at Pointe Peno, just nearby. Since 2023, the château, its chapel and its greenhouse have been coming back to life, one restoration at a time.

Can we taste the estate's wines before the wedding?

Yes. The estate offers a one-hour walk through the vines, with the château's story told in front of its facade and a tasting of its wines with small bites. We can fit it into the day of your visit.
