The area

Évecquemont is a village perched on the Hautil hill above the Seine, in the French Vexin regional nature park. It takes its name from a 12th-century Benedictine priory. On Friday mornings, the Meulan market sets up by the Seine, 7 minutes away; a little further, Giverny and Monet's gardens, or La Roche-Guyon.

Fervenza is a French company for all-inclusive weddings. With Émilie and the whole team, we're already planning weddings for 2027 and 2028.

How much does a wedding at Château du Prieuré d'Évecquemont cost?

From €54,000, all-inclusive, for about 70 guests: the venue, the table, the flowers, the music, your photos, and us on site. The exact price depends on your date and your guest count, and you have it in writing within a week.

Can the price change?

Once you agree, no. It only changes if you change the wedding: more or fewer guests, or something you add along the way.

What if one of our suppliers can't make it?

We replace them. They're our suppliers, under our contract, so the two of you have nothing to search for or renegotiate. You approve the choice, and we take care of the rest.

Can we insure our wedding?

Yes, if you wish. We can offer optional cancellation insurance dedicated to your wedding, placed with Lloyd's. It covers cancelling or postponing for reasons beyond your control, including if one of you can't be there, as set out in the policy terms.

What if we booked the château directly?

You can, it's a beautiful house. The château rents you its park, its salons and its bedrooms, and introduces its partner caterers. You then bring together the caterer, the drinks, the service, the flowers, the decor, the music and the photographer. With us, all of that is in your price, every choice stays yours, and the château keeps its own rate. You come to get married.

How many guests can we invite?

Up to 70 at table in the château's salons, and up to 100 under the lime-tree alley when the weather is fine.

Which dates are still free?

Tell us your date, we check with the château and reply in writing.

Can we have a secular ceremony on site?

Yes: under the peristyle, between its stone columns, or in the park, beneath the century-old trees. Rows facing you, or chairs in a circle all around you: your words, your people, your way.

Can we have our civil wedding in Évecquemont?

In France, a civil wedding always takes place at a town hall, never at the château. Évecquemont town hall can marry you if one of you, or one of your parents, lives there or has lived there for at least a month. Otherwise, the civil wedding happens in your own town, and the ceremony at the château.

Our guests are flying in. Is it easy for them?

Yes: Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle airport is about 45 minutes away by car, Orly about 50. By train, Vaux-sur-Seine station, on the line from Paris Saint-Lazare, is under 2 km from the village. For them, we give you the best addresses nearby, ready to share with your loved ones.

Coming from abroad: how does it work?

Your contract is governed by French law, and also written in English.

Where do our guests sleep?

On site, 30 of them: in the château's five bedrooms, among them the Suite Royale, and in the suites and the gardener's house in the outbuildings. Rooms are billed directly by the château, to you or to each of your guests: you decide what you offer. For everyone else, Meulan and Triel-sur-Seine are under 10 minutes away.

Who cooks for our wedding?

A caterer we choose together among the château's partners: bistro-style cooking for lunch, fine dining for dinner. You taste the menu beforehand, and it is included in your price.

How late can the party go?

Until 3 in the morning, with the music and the dancing. Dinner under the lime trees, then the evening is yours. We confirm the château's exact times for your date, in writing.

What if it rains?

Rain plan: the château's salons, which seat 70 guests at table, and the Orangerie salons at garden level, opening onto the lime-tree alley.

Where do we get ready?

In the bedrooms on the château's top floor, the Suite Royale and its boudoir for one of you, another bedroom for the other, if you'd like to see each other for the first time at the ceremony.

Can we bring our own vendors?

Yes, and if you already have a vendor in mind, they're welcome. Your photos are included, with our photographers. If you already have yours, we welcome them into the team and adjust your price. For the table, the château works with partner caterers, bistro-style and fine dining: we choose with you.
