The area

Bonnelles is a village in the Haute Vallée de Chevreuse regional park, at the edge of the Rambouillet forest; its ponds are a regional nature reserve. For guests who come early: the Saturday market in Rambouillet, the Château de Rambouillet and its Queen's Dairy, or the Bonnelles market on Sunday.

Who is Fervenza?

Fervenza is a French company for all-inclusive weddings. With Émilie and the whole team, we're already planning weddings for 2027 and 2028.

How much does a wedding at Château des Clos cost?

From €52,000, all-inclusive, for about 100 guests: the venue, the table, the flowers, the music, your photos, and us on site. The exact price depends on your date and your guest count, and you get it in writing within a week.

Can the price change?

Once you agree, no. It only changes if you change the wedding: more or fewer guests, or something you add along the way.

What if one of our suppliers can't make it?

We replace them. They're our suppliers, under our contract, so the two of you have nothing to search for or renegotiate. You approve the choice, and we take care of the rest.

Can we insure our wedding?

Yes, if you wish. We can offer optional cancellation insurance dedicated to your wedding, placed with Lloyd's. It covers cancelling or postponing for reasons beyond your control, including if one of you can't be there, as set out in the policy terms.

What if we booked the château directly?

You can, it's a beautiful house. The château rents you its ground floor and its park from Saturday 4 pm to Sunday 4 pm, furniture included. You then bring together the caterer from its list, the DJ, the flowers and decor, the photographer and the running of the day. With us, all of that is in your price, every choice stays yours, and the château keeps its own rate. You come to get married.

How many guests can we invite?

Up to 120 seated in the Grand Salon. The party carries on in the panelled room, and 55 of your guests can sleep on site.

Which dates are still free?

Tell us your date, we check with the château and reply in writing. It hosts weddings from April to July, then in September and October.

Can we have a secular ceremony on site?

Yes, in the garden: the 5-hectare park, its rose garden and its formal garden lend themselves to it. Your officiant, your own words, and your people gathered around you.

Can we have our civil wedding in Bonnelles?

In France, a civil wedding always takes place at a town hall, never at the château. Bonnelles town hall can marry you if one of you, or one of your parents, lives there or has lived there for at least a month. Otherwise, the civil wedding happens in your own town in the morning, and the château awaits you at 4 pm.

Our guests are coming from far away. Is it easy for them?

Yes: the château is under an hour from Paris and 5 minutes from the Dourdan exit of the A10, with about 90 parking spaces inside the grounds. And 55 of them can sleep on site if you like, with no drive home after the party.

Coming from abroad: how does it work?

Your contract is governed by French law, and also written in English.

How late can the party go on?

Until 4 am, in the panelled room. The château is yours without a break from Saturday 4 pm to Sunday 4 pm, and the guests sleeping on site only have a few steps to bed.

Are the caterer and the music set by the château?

Yes: the château works with a list of caterers, and a single partner for the sound and the DJ. We choose with you, from that list, the caterer that suits you, and you taste the menu before deciding.

Where do we get ready?

In the nuptial suite, on the château's first floor, looking over the formal garden and the forest, booked at the château's own rate. One of you gets ready there, the other in one of the five other bedrooms of the floor, and you meet in the garden.

Will our grandparents manage easily?

Yes. The château has a lift, one of its bedrooms is suited to guests with reduced mobility, and the parking is inside the grounds.

Can we bring our own vendors?

Yes, and if you already have a vendor in mind, they're welcome. Your photos are included, with our photographers. If you already have yours, we welcome them into the team and adjust your price. For the table and the sound, the château works with a list of caterers and a single DJ partner: you choose from that list.
