The area

The estate lies in Saint-Félix-de-Pallières, at the foot of the Cévennes, near Anduze, the "Gateway to the Cévennes" carved by the Gardon river. For those who arrive early: the Bambouseraie and its 1,000 varieties of bamboo, the steam train to Saint-Jean-du-Gard, a swim in the Gardon, and on Thursday morning, the Anduze market.

Fervenza is a French company for all-inclusive weddings. With Émilie and the whole team, we're already planning weddings for 2027 and 2028.

How much does a wedding at Le Domaine du Rey cost?

From €66,000, all-inclusive, for about 100 guests: the estate, the table, the flowers, the music, your photos, and us on site. Your exact price depends on your date and guest count, and you get it in writing within a week.

Can the price change?

Once you agree, no. It only changes if you change the wedding: more or fewer guests, or something you add along the way.

What if one of our suppliers can't make it?

We replace them. They're our suppliers, under our contract, so the two of you have nothing to search for or renegotiate. You approve the choice, and we take care of the rest.

Can we insure our wedding?

Yes, if you wish. We can offer optional cancellation insurance dedicated to your wedding, placed with Lloyd's. It covers cancelling or postponing for reasons beyond your control, including if one of you can't be there, as set out in the policy terms.

What if we booked the estate directly?

You can, it's a lovely house. The estate rents you its hamlet for the weekend, with its nomad tent and a manager on the day. Its 34 rooms are billed directly by the estate. You then bring the caterer, tables and chairs, the flowers, the decor, the music and the photographer. With us, all of that is in your price, every choice stays yours, and the estate keeps its own rate. You come to get married.

How many guests can we invite?

Up to 160 at the table outdoors, in the olive meadow, and 130 in the barn. Sunday brunch welcomes 80 by the pool, and more on the Linden Terrace. 34 of your guests sleep on the estate, the others in the nearby villages.

Which dates are still free?

The estate hosts weddings from spring to early autumn, over a weekend from Friday to Sunday. Tell us your date, we check with Le Domaine du Rey and reply in writing.

Can we have a secular ceremony on site?

Yes, on the Linden Terrace, in the shade of the great trees, facing the hills. Other couples have chosen the olive meadow or the lawn by the pool. Your words, your officiant, your people around you.

Can we have our civil wedding in Saint-Félix-de-Pallières?

In France, a civil wedding always takes place at a town hall, never on the estate. The Saint-Félix-de-Pallières town hall can marry you if one of you, or one of your parents, lives there or has lived there for at least a month. Otherwise, the civil wedding happens in your own town, and the ceremony on the estate.

Our guests are flying in. Is it easy for them?

Yes: Nîmes station and the Nîmes and Montpellier airports are about 50 minutes away, and the estate offers a shuttle. Paris is 3 hours from Nîmes by TGV. And 34 of your guests sleep on site.

How do our guests get back after the party?

34 of them have only a few steps to their room, along paths lit until dawn. The others stay in Anduze or Sauve. We give you the addresses, ready to share with your loved ones, and the estate has its own parking.

Where do we get ready?

At La Clède, the suite kept for you two, with its patio and its lawn facing the hills. One of you can also get ready at La Magnanerie, with your people, a few steps from the Linden Terrace.

How late can the party go on?

As late as you like, in the old stone barn: no closing time, no volume limit. Outside, under the olive trees, the music turns soft after midnight, and the dance floor waits for you in the barn.

Will our grandparents manage easily?

Yes. Parking is on site, the grounds stay lit until dawn, and the estate welcomes guests with reduced mobility. The spaces sit on terraces: on the visit, we map out the gentlest path with the estate, and keep the closest room for them.

And if it rains?

Dinner moves under the nomad tent at the end of the meadow, which seats 140 guests, or into the barn, up to 130. The party always takes place in the barn.

Coming from abroad: how does it work?

Your contract is governed by French law, and also written in English. On the day, the estate's own manager speaks English too, as well as German and Dutch.
