Your wedding at Château de Vallery

From €108,000, all-inclusive, for about 100 guests between mid-November and mid-March: the venue, the table, the flowers, the music, your photos, and us on site. In spring and summer, the price follows the château's seasons. The exact price for your date, in writing within a week.

Once you agree, no. It only changes if you change the wedding: more or fewer guests, or something you add along the way.

We replace them. They're our suppliers, under our contract, so the two of you have nothing to search for or renegotiate. You approve the choice, and we take care of the rest.

Yes, if you wish. We can offer optional cancellation insurance dedicated to your wedding, placed with Lloyd's. It covers cancelling or postponing for reasons beyond your control, including if one of you can't be there, as set out in the policy terms.

You can, it's a beautiful house. The château rents you the estate, halls, bedrooms and furniture, with no corkage fee, and opens its address book. You then bring together the caterer, the flowers, the music, the sound and light, the photographer and the fireworks. With us, all of that is in your price, every choice stays yours, and the château keeps its own rate. You come to get married.

Up to 330 at table in the Salon des Musiques, with the dance floor and the band, and up to 400 guests in the château's large halls. For a smaller dinner, the Salle des Tentures seats up to 140, under its trompe-l'oeil ceiling.

Tell us your date, we check with the château and reply in writing. Spring is the most requested season; from mid-November to mid-March, the château has its softest rates.

Yes: under the three-hundred-year-old sycamore, under the great chestnut tree, in the rose garden, or in the Grande Galerie when it is cool. You choose the words, we set out the chairs and the flowers.

Yes. The church of Saint-Thomas-de-Cantorbéry stands across from the château, with about 230 seats, and your guests walk there along the church path. It holds the mausoleum of Henri II de Condé, where the princes of Condé rest. The date is booked with the parish, and we do it with you.

In France, a civil wedding always takes place at a town hall, never at the château. Vallery town hall can marry you if one of you, or one of your parents, lives there or has lived there for at least a month. Otherwise, the civil wedding happens in your own town, and the ceremony at the château.

Yes: Orly airport is 1 h 10 away, Roissy 1 h 40, and the train runs from Paris to Sens or Montereau in 55 minutes. Guests sleep on site or a few minutes away, and we give you the addresses, ready to share with your loved ones.

Your contract is governed by French law, and also written in English.

As late as you like: the château sets no curfew and no sound limit, inside or out. The fireworks go up before 10.40 pm, then the dancing carries on until dawn, around the brazier in the gardens or by the pool.

28 bedrooms at the château, for about 60 people, and more than 200 rooms in Vallery and the nearby villages, including a 58-room hotel in Sens, 20 minutes away. Rooms are billed directly by the château, to you or to each of your guests: you decide what you offer.

Yes: the Grande Galerie, the Salon des Musiques, the Closerie and the Oriental Pavilion are all on the ground floor, ramps are set up for your wedding, and a ground-floor suite in the medieval château, close to the car park, is fitted out for reduced mobility.

In two suites, one each: the dovecote suite on three levels, the Charlotte de Montmorency room under the Renaissance roof, the Loft overlooking the pool or Nirvana in the Palm Grove. The estate has several paths: you keep the surprise, or you plan a first look, as you like.

The château is fully heated: underfloor heating in the Grande Galerie, fireplaces in the Salon des Musiques, warm bedrooms, and the pool stays heated even under the snow. Your vows then take place in the Grande Galerie or at the village church.

Yes, and if you already have a vendor in mind, they're welcome. Your photos are included, with our photographers. If you already have yours, we welcome them into the team and adjust your price. The château imposes no one, caterer included: it suggests about twenty, and you choose.
